Sri Lanka Education Administrative Service Grade II Efficiency Bar Examination 2026
The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has announced the Sri Lanka Education Administrative Service Grade II Efficiency Bar Examination – 2026. According to the Government Gazette dated 21 August 2026, the examination is scheduled to be held in Colombo in November 2026.

Examination Syllabus
Education Policy: This paper covers general education policy, current education policy statements issued by the Government, school curriculum areas and related educational matters.
Subject-related Study: This paper is designed to assess candidates' creative and logical thinking abilities and their ability to solve problems.
Examination Medium

Candidates must sit the examination in only one language medium. The language medium selected cannot subsequently be changed.
Online Application
The online application must be completed in English. Applicants should download and carefully read the official instructions before completing the application.
Important: After submitting the online application, applicants should download the application and follow the Gazette instructions regarding the printed copy, signature, certification and submission to the relevant institution.
Examination Fee
According to the Gazette, no examination fee is charged when applying for the examination for the first time. Thereafter, Rs. 600.00 per subject for each attempt will be charged.
