2027 School Term Calendar Sri Lanka – Ministry of Education
2027 School Term Calendar has been announced by the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education. The official school term schedule includes the opening and closing dates of school terms, school holidays and important examination arrangements for 2027.
2027 School Term Calendar
The Ministry of Education has released the 2027 School Term Schedule under Circular No. 31/2026. According to the announced calendar, government schools, government-approved private schools and approved Pirivenas are scheduled to have 197 school days during the 2027 academic year.
The 2027 school calendar also includes arrangements relating to school vacations and the G.C.E. Advanced Level and Ordinary Level Examinations.
