This document is the complete and authentic second question paper used in the 2019 written examination for promotion to the post of Assistant Manager (Grade III) at Peoples Bank, Sri Lanka. It was prepared and administered by the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka, and is intended for internal candidates who were already serving in junior management or officer grades within the bank.
The examination paper is entirely in Tamil, reflecting the linguistic medium of instruction for this cohort. It carries a total duration of three hours and comprises seven distinct parts, containing a total of 23 questions. Candidates were required to answer a total of eight questions, following a structured selection pattern: two compulsory questions from Part I, two compulsory questions from Part II, and four additional questions selected from Parts III through VII, with a restriction that no more than two questions could be chosen from any single part among Parts III–VII.
