Educational Qualifications
- Special Degree in Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Law, Management or Statistics from a UGC recognized university.
- G.C.E. O/L with 06 subjects including credit passes for Sinhala/Tamil, English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
- 03 years post-qualifying research experience in a Government or recognized institution.
Age Limit
Applicants should be not less than 21 years and not more than 35 years as at the closing date. Upper age limit does not apply to confirmed Public / Provincial Public Service officers.
Selection Method
- Written Test – 100 marks
- Structured Interview – 100 marks
Main Job Duties
- Collect data and maintain research databases.
- Prepare background notes for bills presented to Parliament.
- Prepare fact sheets and statistical extracts.
- Assist Research Officers with desk research and research papers.
