Qualifications for Engineer – Civil

• A relevant bachelor’s degree recognized by the University Grants Commission, together with an appropriate professional qualification and at least six years of relevant experience.
• Government All-Island Service Class II/III or higher officers, or applicants holding a similar position with the required relevant experience, may also be considered.

Qualifications for Assistant Positions

Applicants for Engineering Assistant and Accounts Assistant positions should possess one of the following qualification and experience combinations in the relevant field:

• A relevant degree or an NVQ Level 7 qualification with at least two years of relevant experience.
• NVQ Level 6 with at least five years of experience in the required area.
• NVQ Level 5 with at least eight years of experience in the required area.

Contract Period and Selection

Appointments will initially be offered for a period of one year. The contract may be renewed annually based on satisfactory performance and project requirements.

Candidates will be shortlisted according to their qualifications and experience. Final selection will be based on performance at an interview.
