Qualifications & Experience
Educational and professional qualifications vary according to the position. Depending on the post, applicants may be required to possess relevant degrees, postgraduate qualifications, NVQ qualifications, engineering/technical diplomas, G.C.E. A/L or G.C.E. O/L qualifications and relevant work experience.
Selected Entry Requirements
- Director / Principal: Relevant degree/postgraduate or PhD qualifications with required academic/research experience.
- Assistant Directors: Relevant degree, professional, NVQ or technical qualifications together with the required experience.
- Lecturer: Relevant Engineering, Technology or Science degree/professional qualifications.
- Training / District Officers: Relevant degree, professional, NVQ or diploma qualifications with required experience.
- Database / System Administrator: IT, ICT, Computer Science or related qualifications with relevant experience.
- Translator – Tamil: Recognized degree including Sinhala, Tamil or English language qualifications subject to the language requirements in the notice.
- Instructor / Instructor Assistant: Relevant technical, vocational, degree, diploma or NVQ qualifications depending on the trade.
- Driver: G.C.E. O/L requirements, heavy vehicle driving licence and relevant driving experience.
- Office Aide: Applicants should have sat for the G.C.E. O/L Examination.
