The Kandy Municipal Council has announced new job vacancies for qualified Sri Lankan applicants. Applications are invited for Civil Engineer, Technical Officer, and Project Assistant Officer positions on labor outsourcing and labor purchase basis.

Civil Engineer Service

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Civil Engineer services. Selected applicants will be responsible for project supervision, construction monitoring, infrastructure development, and engineering-related duties.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Knowledge in construction and project supervision
• Ability to manage engineering field activities
• Computer literacy and report preparation skills
• Previous experience will be an added advantage

Technical Officer Services

The council is also seeking qualified Technical Officers to assist with technical operations, maintenance activities, and project implementation work.

Required Skills

• Relevant technical qualification
• Experience in technical and operational duties
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within teams
• Field experience will be beneficial

Project Assistant Officer Service

Applications are also invited for Project Assistant Officer services. Selected candidates will assist with administration, project coordination, documentation, and office-related duties.
