📚 Qualifications
1. Legal Officer – 14 Vacancies
External candidates:
- A degree in Law recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or qualification as an Attorney-at-Law.
- Minimum of one year post-qualification experience in a relevant field after obtaining the first degree.
- Applicants should generally be not more than 45 years of age on the closing date.
Salary Scale: Rs. 91,690 – 168,240, plus applicable allowances.
2. Training & Education Officer – 01 Vacancy
- A UGC-recognized degree in Social Science or another field relevant to the post; or
- Pass in the Intermediate Examination of a recognized professional Chartered Institute relevant to the post.
- Applicants should generally be not more than 45 years old on the closing date.
Salary Scale: Rs. 72,650 – 122,970, plus applicable allowances.
3. Human Rights Officer – 10 Vacancies
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Social Sciences, Conflict Resolution, International Relations or a related field from a UGC-recognized university.
- A Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field is also required.
- Applicants should generally be not more than 45 years old on the closing date.
Salary Scale: Rs. 58,740 – 109,410, plus applicable allowances.
4. Translator – 02 Vacancies
- UGC-recognized degree or a degree relevant to the subject area with at least one year relevant professional experience; or
- Intermediate Examination of a recognized professional Chartered Institute relevant to the post with at least one year relevant experience.
Languages:
- Sinhala ↔ English
- Tamil ↔ English
Salary Scale: Rs. 64,320 – 111,160, plus applicable allowances.
5. Hardware/Software Technician – 02 Vacancies
- Relevant technical/vocational qualification of at least NVQ Level 5.
- The qualification should be issued by a technical or vocational training institution accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission.
Salary Scale: Rs. 50,540 – 87,710, plus applicable allowances.
6. Driver – 02 Vacancies
- Passed six subjects at G.C.E. O/L with at least two Credit Passes in a maximum of two sittings.
- Valid licence issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic for driving heavy vehicles.
- Minimum three years' driving experience after obtaining the required driving licence.
Salary Scale: Rs. 43,280 – 67,040, plus applicable allowances.
7. Office Aide – 02 Vacancies
Two Office Aide vacancies are available at the HRCSL Head Office in Colombo. Candidates should carefully check the official detailed vacancy notice for the applicable educational, age and other recruitment requirements before applying.
