Agrarian Development Officer Grade II Exam 2026

Limited Competitive Examination - Department of Agrarian Development Sri Lanka

This examination is open only for eligible officers of the Department of Agrarian Development who meet the following qualifications:

Option 01 - Degree Qualification

• Should have a degree from a university recognised by the University Grants Commission.
• Should be a confirmed officer in a departmental post of the Department of Agrarian Development.
• Should have completed 05 years of satisfactory service.

Option 02 - O/L, A/L and Service Qualification

• Should have passed G.C.E. O/L with 06 subjects in not more than two sittings.
• Credit passes are required for Sinhala / Tamil / English Language, Mathematics and two other subjects.
• Should have passed at least 01 subject at G.C.E. A/L, excluding General Common Test and General English.
• Should be confirmed in the post of Agriculture Research and Production Assistant or Agrarian Service Centre Management Assistant.
• Should have completed 05 years of satisfactory service in Grade II of the relevant post.
